2 small onion, finely chopped
400g extra-lean minced beef
8 rasher back bacon, fat removed
4 x 60g wholemeal rolls, split
A few lettuce leaves
2 tomatoes, sliced
1) Preheat your grill to medium. Mix the onion with the minced beef using your hands and then shape into 4 thick burgers.
2) Grill the burgers for 5 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your liking. Grill the bacon at the same time for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until cooked.
3) Fill each roll with lettuce, tomato, a burger and 2 rashers of bacon. Top with the roll lid and serve.
